Dr. Bryan Rosa

Dr. Bryan grew up in Dublin, Georgia and received his degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Bryan did his internship and residency at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Some of his favorite things are the outdoors and his two dogs.

Danielle Blalock, NP

Meet Danielle! She grew up here in DeKalb county and graduated from Sylvania High School. Danielle received her Associates in Nursing at NACC, her BSN from Jacksonville State, and her Masters in Science- Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tennessee. Danielle is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Kaylee Kwan, NP

She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville State University and her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has 4 years of pediatric experience in a cardiac intensive care unit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Kaylee is a board certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Peter Strogov

Meet Dr. Peter! He is one of our Pediatricians and the owner of Fort Payne Pediatrics! Dr. Peter opened FPP in 2012 and has since opened several pediatric clinics across North Alabama. He received his degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Peter serves as the President of the Rural Health Association and is a member of AMA and AAP.

Dr. Austin Lively

Dr. Austin grew up in metro Atlanta and received his degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Austin did his internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Georgia. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Julie du Toit

Dr. Julie grew up in Annapolis, Maryland. She received her degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. She completed her internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Julie is board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dewayne Trotman, NP

Meet Dewayne! He has been caring for Dekalb county for since 2013! Dewayne received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and his Masters of Science in Nursing at the Southern Adventist University School of Nursing. He is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Kara Carter, PMHNP-BC

Kara is one of our Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners. She grew up in Mobile, AL and received her degree from University of South Alabama. She completed her residency at UAB and her post graduate residency program at the Birmingham VA. She is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with ANCC and is certified in motivational interviewing.

Katie Fleming PNP

Meet Katie! Katie is a board-certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has 6 years of neonatal nursing experience in the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at UAB. She enjoys spending her days off with her family.

LeAnn Bain, NP

LeAnn is one of our Nurse Practitioners here at FPP. She is a native to DeKalb County. LeAnn received her MSN and BSN from the University of Alabama Huntsville and specialized in family medicine. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical field.

Carlie Rutledge, NP

Carlie grew up in Dekalb County and is a graduate of Fyffe High School. She received her Associates in Nursing at NACC, her Bachelor's and her Master's of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Tiffany Akins, PNP

Tiffany is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. After graduation she moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger for over four years. She also completed her master's degree in nursing specializing in Pediatrics from the University of South Alabama. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has a passion for serving children and their families. She is excited to provide the best care to each patient.
She enjoys being outdoors and traveling to new places.

Pascha Orr, PMHNP

Meet Pascha! She is a ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  She earned her ASN from Gadsden State Community College, BSN from Auburn University, and MSN from The University of Alabama.  She is a mom to 13-year-old triplets. Most of her free time is spent at ballgames and extracurricular activities.  She enjoys spending time with her family and 2 poodles.  She loves Taylor Swift, theatre, building Lego sets, and Auburn gymnastics.
